Welcome to IEEE@Penn
A dynamic student branch of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), dedicated to supporting and advancing the fields of electrical, systems, and robotics engineering.
About Us
We bring students together through projects, competitions, and events that bridge the gap between the classroom and the real world of engineering

IEEE Co-President

Projects and Competitions
Participate in exciting hands-on projects like SumoBots and RoboRacers to build industry-relevant skills, then take them to the competition floor against top engineering schools nationwide. No experience required — just curiosity and a willingness to get your hands dirty.

Networking
We host events to connect you with peers, professors, and industry professionals to build your network and enhance your career prospects. Check out our calendar for upcoming events!

Research Exposure
Get a glimpse into cutting-edge research through lab tours, faculty talks, and panels with grad students. Whether you’re considering a PhD or just curious about what happens beyond the classroom, we’ll help you find out.

Community & Social
From socials to collaborative events with other clubs, we’re a community of students who love building things and having fun doing it.
